The Association of Mountain Guides of Peru is a non-profit Peruvian civil association with 43 years of institutional life
- And is the only entity in Peru that brings together professionals Official Mountain Guides with certification from the International Union of Mountain Guides Associations. Mountain Guides – UIAGM, who provide their services as Official Mountain Guides in the different mountains of Peru and the world.
- The “AGMP” has the objective of promoting the safe practice of mountaineering and responsible adventure tourism, providing foreign and national tourists with a high margin of safety in response to emergencies and mountain rescues, through the Andean rescue corps.
- Likewise, the «AGMP» annually offers the WFA International Safety and Rescue Course in Wilderness Areas, which aims to strengthen knowledge of appropriate technical procedures to respond to emergencies due to diseases and accidents typical of mountain activities. Having been developed in 2023, its XXXVI edition.

- Through its Andean rescue corps, providing foreign and national tourists with a high margin of safety in response to emergencies and mountain rescues. Carrying out its great work since 1980 with 107 rescues in 29 snowy mountains in Peru, to tourists of 39 different nationalities.
